West Bengal (WB) Post Office Recruitment 2021

Department of post has announces 124 vacancies for the post of Postal Assistant(PA), Sorting Assistant(SA), and postman on the official website  westbengalpost.gov.in for 12th Candidates. All willing candidates can apply through offline application for this recruitment before the last date which is, 24th December 2021.  The officials of WB Post Office has started to accept offline application from candidates for 124 vacancies on 15th December 2021.

Educational Qualifications:-

Name of the Post	Educational Qualification
Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant	12th passed or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university. The candidates will be required to furnish at least 60 days duration basic computer training certificate from a recognized computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.
Postman	12th passed from a recognized board. Knowledge of local language i.e Bengali in respect of West Bengal State, Nepali in respect of Sikkim State and English/Hindi in respect of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The candidates will be required to furnish at least 60 days duration basic computer training certificate from a recognized computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.

Sports Qualification:-

1. Sportsmen who have represented a State or the Country in the National or International competition in Sports/ games shown below

2.Sportsmen who have represented their university in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the Inter University Sports Board in the Sports / Games shown below.

3.Sportsmen who have represented the State School teams in the National Sports/ Games for schools conducted by the All the India School Games Federation in the Sports / Games shown below.

4.Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Age Limit:-

Minimum- 18 years
Maximum- 27 years

Selection Process:-
1. Written Exam
2. Interview 

Pay Salary:-

1. For Postal and Sorting Assistants -  Rs. 25,500 – 81,100
2. For Postman-  Rs. 21,700 – 69,100
