UPSC CDS 2 2023 Notification out, Apply Online for 349 Vacancies

UPSC released the official notification for Combined Defense Services (CDS) - II Examination on 17th May 2023.  It is a National-level competitive examination that will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 03rd September 2023 for select candidates who want to serve in the defense services such as Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Naval Academy, and Officer Training Academy. Interested candidates can apply online at https://upsconline.nic.in. 
UPSC CDS 2 2023 Eligibility Criteria:-

(a) Nationality:

 A candidate must be unmarried and must either be: (i) a Citizen of India, (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

UPSC CDS 2 2023 Educational Qualification:-

UPSC CDS 2 2023 Selection Process:-

The Combined Defense Services Examination is conducted in two phases:
Written Examination & SSB Interview
The CDS follows a three-stage recruitment process:-
(i) Written Examination
(ii) SSB Interview
(iii) Medical Examination
(iv) Merit List

UPSC CDS 2 2023 Steps to apply:-

1. Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. https://www.upsc.gov.in.
2. Now, click on the UPSC CDS 2 2023 link.
3. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website,
4. In part 1 of the registration, Submit your basic details.
5. In part 2, pay the fee (if applicable) and choose the exam center of your choice.
6. Upload your passport-size photo and signature as per the guidelines given in the notice.
7. Save the details and click on the submit button.
8. Take out the print of the application form for future reference.
