CRIS Recruitment for Assistant Software Engineers (ASE) & Assistant Data Analyst (ADA)
The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) is an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Railways. It develops and manages critical Information Technology applications of the Indian Railways, including the well-known Passenger Reservation System, Freight Operation Information System, and Unreserved Ticketing System among others. CRIS possesses state-of-the-art infrastructure at its offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Secunderabad.
The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) invites online applications for the recruitment of 144 Assistant Software Engineers (ASE) and 06 Assistant Data Analyst (ADA) positions. Selection would be based on the Score obtained by the applicants in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of CRIS @www.cris.org.in. The last date to apply online is 24th May 2022.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
For Assistant Software Engineers:
(i) BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Information Technology or Computer Science &Information Technology or Computer Applications
(ii) MCA or B.Sc 4 year degree course (Computer Science ) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC / ST/ PwBD candidates) OR
(iii) Candidates with ME/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering can also apply.
For Assistant Data Analyst:
(i) B.E/B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in any discipline/ M.Sc (Mathematics/Statistics/ Operations Research)/MA (Economics).
OR
MCA or B.Sc 4 year degree course (Computer Science Engineering) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC /ST/ PwBD candidates and GATE scores as specified.
2. Age limit
Minimum age - 22 years
Maximum age - 27 years as on last date for submission of application.
(Age relaxation: 03 years for OBC-NCL & 05 years for SC/ST)
Pay Salary: INR 60k/month
7th CPC Level 7 + DA and other allowances as per CRIS Rules (Basic Pay Rs. 60,000/- per month)
Application fee:
Application fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) + GST (18%) + Bank charges (as applicable) for Unreserved/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWBD and women candidates.
Selection process:
Selection would be based on the Score obtained by the applicants in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
