History of Nobel Prize:

Nobel prize is considered as one of the most Coveted awards. It is presented in the memory of Sir Alfred Nobel. 
Alfred nobel was a Swedish Chemist, an Engineer and also an Industrial, He is also most famously known for the invention of 'Dynamite'. He died in 1896. In his well, he bequeathed all of his "remaining realisable assets" to be used to establish five prizes which became known as "Nobel Prizes".  Nobel Prizes was first awarded in 1901. The Nobel prize has been awarded 609 times to 975 people and organizations.  Nobel prizes are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards available in their respective fields. 

Fields in which Nobel Prize is Given:
Nobel Prizes are awarded in the fields of Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and Peace (Peace Prize is characterized as "to the person who has done the most or best to advance fellowship among nations, the abolitionor reduction of standing armies, and the establishment and promotion of peace congresses").
It is important to note that the economics award wasn't created by Nobel but by Sweden's central bank in 1968.

Nobel prize Medal:

Up to 1980, the Swedish medal, weighing approximately 200 g and with a diameter of 66 mm, It was made with of 23-carat gold. 
Since then they are made of 18-carat gold. The weight is set to 175 g for all the medals, except for the medal for the Prize in Economic Sciences. It's weight is set to 185 g.

Noble Prize Money:

1. The award ceremony is held every year, in which each Noble laureate recieves a gold medal, a Diploma and some money from the noble foundation.

2. In 2021, the Noble Prize monetary award is 10,000,000 Swedish Krona (SEK). (74595201.67 Indian rupees, as of 2022)

3. Amount recieved can't be shared among more than three persons. However, the Noble Peace Prize may be awarded to more than three persons of an organization.
