Delhi University Admission schedule released – UG & PG admissions will start from 12th October

Delhi University has recently released its schedule for the Admission process for the session 2020-21. This year the admission process is late due to the Corona Pandemic. This year the academic session will be started from 18th November 2020 onwards.

Schedule for UG merit-based admissions

The merit-based admissions are based on the percentage marks in qualifying examination i.e 10+2. The university releases 6 cutoff lists each year to fill the seats in top colleges. This year for session 2020-21 the first cut-off will be released on October 12th onwards in online mode and students can get admissions against this cutoff from 12th October to 14th October from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Schedule for UG – Entrance Based Admissions:

The merit list will be prepared according to the marks obtained in the entrance examination (DUET).  Students can take admission against the first merit list from 19th October to 21st October 2020 ( 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM ).

Schedule for PG – Entrance/Merit Based Admissions:

For PG admissions DU conducts the Entrance exam and the students who graduated from Delhi university can avail of the admission according to the internal merit system.

For merit-based admissions, a separate merit list will be generated according to the marks obtained in qualifying exams i.e in graduation. And specified seats ( only for merit-based, maybe 50% of total seats )  will be allotted to the students on merit.

For entrance based, separate merit list will be generated according to the marks obtained in the entrance examination (DUET). and specified sets will be allotted to the students according to the increasing order of their merit.

the students can take admission against the first merit from 26th October to 28th October 2020 ( 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM ).
