GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) Overview

The GPAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) programs across India. It is a computer-based online test (CBT) conducted annually.

Eligibility:

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
2. Minimum marks requirement varies based on category (typically 50% for general, 45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST).

Exam Pattern:

Mode: Computer-based online test (CBT)
Duration: 3 hours
Number of questions: 125
Question type: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
Marking scheme: 4 marks awarded for each correct answer, -1 mark for each wrong answer, no marks for unattempted questions.
Total marks: 500
