Account & Login

Registration, Roll Number and sign-in help.

How do I create a SoloTutes Assessment account?

Open the Registration page and enter your name, email address and date of birth. You can also use the available Google sign-in option. After successful registration, SoloTutes generates a unique Student Roll Number for your account.

Create your free account ↗
How do I log in to my student account?

Go to the Student Login page. You can use Google sign-in or log in manually with your Student Roll Number and date-of-birth password. For manual login, enter your date of birth in the format requested on the login screen (DDMMYYYY).

Where can I find my Student Roll Number?

Your unique Roll Number is generated when you create your Assessment account. Keep it safe; you can use it with your date-of-birth password to log in. If you cannot find it, contact admin@solotutes.com from your registered email address.

Can I use my normal WordPress website account for Assessment?

SoloTutes Assessment uses its own student account system. A normal WordPress website account is not automatically the same as an Assessment student account. Register on the Assessment platform if you have not created an Assessment account yet.

I cannot log in or have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Check your Roll Number and the date of birth entered during registration, using the required format. You can also try Google sign-in if your account is linked to Google. If the issue continues, email admin@solotutes.com with your registered email and Roll Number. Never send your password or OTP.

Tests & Test Series

Free tests, premium series and included assessments.

Where can I find available practice tests?

Visit the Tests library to browse individual practice tests. Use the available exam, subject and academic-level filters. For complete exam-focused packages, visit the Test Series section.

What is the difference between an individual test and a test series?

An individual test is a single assessment listed in the Tests library. A test series is a grouped package for a particular exam or subject and may contain multiple topic-wise, sectional and full-length tests. The series page shows its price, included tests, question counts and availability.

Are all tests paid?

No. SoloTutes offers free practice tests as well as premium test series. A series marked Free can be accessed without purchase. A Premium series requires the listed purchase or an eligible Pro Pass. Always check the current access label on the relevant page.

How can I check how many tests are included in a series?

Open the specific test-series page. Its overview displays the included test count, total questions where available, and the linked test list. Review this information before purchasing.

What do Published, Upcoming and Available tests mean?

Published tests are live and can be attempted when your account has access. Upcoming tests are listed for the series but are not yet open for attempts. They become attemptable after they are published and released on SoloTutes.

Will all tests be available immediately after I purchase a series?

Your purchase grants access to the tests included in that series, subject to their publication and release status. Published tests can be attempted once access is confirmed. Tests marked Upcoming become available after they are published. A purchase does not make an unpublished test immediately attemptable.

Can I see the test list before buying?

Yes. Open the series detail page to review its overview and included tests. The page may show published and upcoming tests separately, along with question counts and current pricing.

payments

Payments & Purchases

How to buy a series and resolve payment issues.

How do I purchase a premium test series?
  1. Open Test Series and select the exam or subject series.
  2. Review the included tests, question count, current price and access details.
  3. Choose the purchase option on that series page.
  4. Log in or create your Assessment account when prompted.
  5. Complete payment through the secure Razorpay checkout displayed on the website.
  6. After successful payment and access confirmation, return to the same series page using the same student account.
Which payment methods are accepted?

Payments are processed through Razorpay checkout. Payment options such as UPI, cards or net banking depend on the methods displayed by Razorpay at checkout and may vary by transaction or provider.

Is a test-series purchase a subscription or a one-time payment?

Individual premium test-series pages display a one-time payment for lifetime access to that particular series. This is different from Pro Pass, which is presented as a one-year access pass. Always check the price and access duration shown on the live page before paying.

Is an old offer price from a poster still valid?

Not necessarily. Offers and prices can change. The current price at the time of purchase is the amount displayed on the live test-series page and checkout. Please verify it before completing payment.

Money was deducted but my series is still locked. What should I do?

Do not immediately make a second payment. Confirm you are logged in with the same Assessment account used during checkout, refresh the series page and check again after the payment status updates. If access is still unavailable, email admin@solotutes.com with your registered email, Roll Number, payment date, amount and transaction ID. You may attach a payment confirmation screenshot. Never share card details, UPI PIN or OTP.

Payment failed or I closed the payment window. Was I charged?

Check your bank, UPI app or payment provider transaction status before retrying. If no amount was debited and checkout shows failure, you can retry. If money was debited or the status is unclear, contact support with the transaction reference instead of placing repeated orders.

Can I request a refund or cancel a purchase?

For refund or cancellation requests, email admin@solotutes.com with your payment details and reason. Refund eligibility is subject to the applicable SoloTutes purchase terms and transaction verification. Please review the applicable purchase terms displayed by SoloTutes before purchasing.

Will I receive purchase confirmation?

After a successful transaction, the purchase is verified and access is associated with the Assessment account used for purchase. If the series does not show access, follow the payment troubleshooting steps above and share the transaction ID with support.

Accessing Purchased Tests

Where your series appears and how to open included tests.

Where do I find my test series after purchase?

Log in with the same Assessment account used during purchase and return to the test-series page you purchased. Once access is confirmed, that page recognises your access and lets you open its published tests. You can also visit your Student Dashboard and Test Library to navigate your Assessment activity.

Do I need to buy every test separately after purchasing a series?

No. A test-series purchase covers the tests included in that series. You do not need to purchase each included test individually. Access still depends on the test being published and released and your account having valid series access.

I purchased a series but still see the Buy button. What should I check?

Make sure you are signed in to the same Assessment account used at checkout. Refresh the series page. If the purchase is still not recognised, contact support with your Roll Number and payment transaction ID. Do not purchase the same series again until the first transaction is checked.

Can I access a purchased series on another device?

Sign in with the same SoloTutes Assessment account on the supported device. Purchase access is associated with your account, not only the browser or device used to pay.

Can I attempt a purchased test more than once?

Retake availability can depend on the individual test configuration. Check the test instructions and attempt screen before starting. Your completed attempts and results are available through your Assessment account where supported.

Test Attempts & Results

Starting a test, submitting and reviewing performance.

How do I start a test?

Open a test from the Tests library or the relevant test-series page. Review the test details and instructions, then select the start/attempt option. For premium tests, make sure you are logged in and have access.

Will I see my result after submitting a test?

SoloTutes provides result and performance information after an eligible attempt is submitted. Depending on the test configuration, this may include your score, time taken, answer review and explanations.

Where can I check previous attempts and results?

Log in and open your Student Dashboard. Use the available attempts, results or performance sections to review your activity. The exact information depends on the features enabled for your account and test.

What is the difference between a practice test and a full-length mock test?

Practice tests generally focus on a topic, subject or section. Full-length mock tests cover a broader exam pattern and provide a longer exam-style attempt. Check the test title, question count and instructions before starting.

Practice Engine & Revision

Instant Practice, CBT Mode, Mistake Bank and challenges.

What is the SoloTutes Practice Engine?

The Practice Engine is a practice area where you can work on questions by subject or topic. It includes Instant Practice for immediate answer checking and CBT Mode for an exam-like attempt where you see the result after finishing.

How does Instant Practice Mode work?

Your selected answer is checked immediately. Current scoring rules:

  • Correct answer: +4 points and +1 mark.
  • Wrong answer: −1 point and 0 marks for that question.

Incorrectly answered questions are added to the Mistake Bank for revision.

How does CBT Mode work?

CBT Mode follows an exam-like flow. Attempt the questions first and submit when finished. Your result is shown after submission rather than immediately after each answer.

What is the Mistake Bank?

The Mistake Bank collects eligible questions you answered incorrectly in Instant Practice. You can return to these questions and try them again.

How do I remove a question from my Mistake Bank?

Reattempt the saved question and answer it correctly. A correct retry earns +3 points and clears that question from the Mistake Bank.

What are Question Challenges?

Question Challenges let you practise focused sets of 5, 10 or 25 questions. They are designed for short practice sessions and award points for participation and performance as shown in the challenge interface.

Are Practice Engine points the same as test marks?

No. Points and marks are separate values in Instant Practice. A correct answer currently gives +4 points and +1 mark, while a wrong answer gives −1 point and 0 marks. Points are not the same as marks or a percentage score.

Pro Pass

All-access option for eligible premium resources.

What is SoloTutes Pro Pass?

Pro Pass is an access option for students preparing for multiple exams. It is presented as a one-year pass for eligible test series and other benefits listed on the Pro Pass page.

Does Pro Pass unlock every test and resource on SoloTutes?

Pro Pass applies to eligible series, tests and resources covered by the pass. Do not assume it includes every item on the website. Review the current inclusions and exclusions on the Pro Pass page before purchasing.

Should I buy one test series or Pro Pass?

If you are preparing for one exam, its individual test series may be sufficient. If you need several eligible series, compare their individual prices with the current one-year Pro Pass price and listed benefits.

Android App

App availability, login and progress synchronisation.

Is the SoloTutes Android app available on Google Play?

SoloTutes has been running a beta release while preparing for its public Play Store release. Check the Android App page for current download and availability information. Use only the official download source linked by SoloTutes.

Can I use my website account in the Android app?

Yes. Sign in with the same SoloTutes account credentials you use on the website so your account-linked test history and progress can synchronise across supported platforms.

Will my test history sync between website and app?

The app is designed to synchronise account-linked test history and progress with the web platform. Use the same account on both. Sync timing can depend on your internet connection and service availability.
