SSC GD Constable 2022 Exam Date, Syllabus And Pattern PDF

As you all know, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification of conducting an open Competitive Examination for the recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CISF,  CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF, Riffle Man (GD) in Assam Riffles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau). 

Online applications have been started from 27th October 2022 for filling up 24369 vacancies of GD Constable. The candidates who have passed their Class 10th/Matriculation from a recognized Board can apply online before 30th November 2022.

SSC GD Constable Syllabus 2022-

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2022 has been changed this year.
The Exam will be now held for 160 marks which were earlier conducted for 100 marks. Along with the Exam pattern, Aspirants should know all the basic details of the syllabus included with important topics.

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2022-

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern will consists of 4 Sections.

 I. Computer Based Test (CBT)

1. In the exam, there will be total 80 Questions which will asked for 160 marks. Each section will have 20 Questions.
2. The total time duration of the SSC GD Constable Exam will be 60 minutes (1 hour).
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
4. Each question will carry +02 marks.
5. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi & English languages.
6. The questions in the Computer Based Examination will be of Matriculation level.
7. Candidates are not permitted to use calculators and other electronic gadgets.
8. The candidates who cleared the CBT will be selected for Phase II i.e the PST & PET.

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern: Phase- II

1.Physical Standard Test ( PST)

Based on the performance in CBT, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres finalized by the CAPFs.

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern - Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:

SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern- Medical Test

Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) who qualify the PET/ PST round.
The document verification of candidates will also be done in thi stage itself. Once the candidates are declared clear, they will be considered eligible for this post. 

The candidates who are qualified in the PET/ PST and DV/ Medical Examination will be considered for inclusion in the final merit list.
