SSC CHSL 2022 Exam Overview
The Staff Selection Commission has released notification for SSC CHSL Exam 2022 which will be held in February/March 2023.
SSC CHSL is a national-level government exam conducted yearly by Staff Selection Commission to select higher secondary qualified students for Indian government offices or departments.
SSC CHSL 2022 Exam Pattern
This time the Exam pattern of the SSC CHSL Exam has been changed. The SSC CHSL Exam will now be held in two tiers i.e Tier-1 & Tier-2.
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers as indicated below:
1. SSC CHSL Tier- I Exam Pattern
The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English and Hindi for Parts II, III & IV.
The total duration will be of 60 minutes.
There will be 4 subjects with 100 questions.
The paper will be of objective type only.
There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.

2. SSC CHSL Exam Pattern for Tier- II (Revised)
Tier II will include the following three sections having two modules each:
Section-I:
Module I: Mathematical Abilities
Module II: Reasoning and General Intelligence
Section-II:
Module I: English Language and Comprehension
Module II: General Awareness
Section-III:
Module I: Computer Knowledge Test
Module II: Skill Test/ Typing Test

Tier II will be conducted in two sessions – Session –I & Session II, on the same day.
It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Tier-II
There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section II, and Module-I of Section III.
